Licensing Policy
What you may and may not do with the puzzles and printable PDFs on Word Search Zoo.
Every puzzle, grid, preview image and printable PDF on wordsearchzoo.com is original work, generated and curated in-house, and is protected by copyright. Here is exactly what you can and cannot do with it, in plain language.
You CAN, for free
- Play any puzzle on the site, as often as you like.
- Download and print any puzzle PDF or solution PDF for personal use at home.
- Print copies for your classroom, library, after-school club, tutoring or therapy practice, as many as you need, every year, at no cost.
- Display a puzzle on a classroom whiteboard or projector, or link to a puzzle from Google Classroom, a class blog or a school website.
- Share a link to any page of this site on social media, blogs or school newsletters.
You CANNOT
- Sell our PDFs or puzzle images, or include them in paid products, bundles, printables shops or subscriptions.
- Re-upload our PDFs or images to other websites, marketplaces (for example TpT, Etsy), print-on-demand services or file-sharing sites. Link to the puzzle page instead: that keeps it free for everyone.
- Remove the wordsearchzoo.com footer from a PDF, or crop it out of a preview image.
- Claim the puzzles as your own, or republish them under another name.
- Use the puzzles or images to train or fine-tune machine learning models.
Attribution
Attribution is not required for personal or classroom use. The small footer on each PDF is enough. If you feature us in a blog post, a resource list or a school newsletter, a link to wordsearchzoo.com is always appreciated, never demanded.
For any other use, including commercial licensing, contact us. We are friendly and answer quickly.
